Very disappointed. More puzzles than story. wanted to like this..the game looks as if the devs went to a lot of effort.+++ visually the game is great--- aside from the visuals...none of it felt cyberpunk- puzzles are underwhelming \/ not satisfying to solve - plays like an awkward point and click game, that fails to be a point and click game- maybe it gets better? but after 2 hours i didn't care enough about the plot, characters, gameplay to want to find out I'm sure there's some people that might enjoy it - but it just feels like a grind... This is a pretty good cyberpunk detective puzzle game. I completed in 10 hours but I believe if I do not have guides I would have stuck forever...The puzzles are intermediate-hard IMO, I'm pretty dumb and lazy to spin around for a long time so for some puzzle just look for guides...The puzzle is kinda like the main theme in the game, not only the traditional puzzle, there is also collect things here and there in order to use it to complete another puzzle. The varieties of puzzle are A LOT, really a lot, most of them are from some math problems that reminds me of Nancy Drew series. The story is engaging, it keeps me hooked up on want to know what happens next. Unfortunately we know not much of our characters nor other NPC, the character develop seems a little lack in here. Or maybe that's just not the focus part.Anyway, if you're looking for a cyberpunk theme puzzle solving game, this is definitely your cup of tea. I also recommend this to anyone who likes puzzle solving and detective game. The detective part in this game is well built as well.PS: The story is not end, in this time of review it only have 3 chapters. The devs said they are looking to release more in Autumn, I am looking forward to the rest of the story!PPS: There are some bugs too, the most I encountered are the achievements doesn't pop up even I am pretty sure I completed that. Probably a bug or probably there's something haven't release yet. Other bugs I've seen are stuck in some place, or even completed the puzzle but the effect does not show up. However on my 10 hours gameplay, I encountered very little bugs, only the achievement problems.. i'd say it's 7\/10. the reason it's a thumbs down is because it sorely lacks coherence and identity in its gameplay. yes, as many other reviews point out, it has a great variety of puzzles, but it results in neither of them being elevated to anything memorable. there are many puzzles that are just pure traditional puzzles (like hanoi towers, for instance), and many others are based on traditional mechanics. whenever the game tries to innovate, the main tool is to artificially slow the player's progress down. for instance, in the final area there's a dozen or two interactive places. you can only properly interact with them when they are lit up, and of course you can only have 2 or 3 of them lit up at once. you can switch the lights through a special console, but there's never a clever puzzle or resource management behind it, it's just there to add legwork and pad the playtime (also by increasing the chance of you missing an interactive spot). then you get a bunch of rechargers\/accumulators\/transformators\/batteries that you have to sort your way through. two of the game's supposedly signature investigation mechanics are complete chores. searching for clues involves nothing more than just combing the screen with the mouse, and the cogwheels "deduction" is simple combinatorics with no depth. those puzzles might as well have been randomly generated (and i wouldn't be surprised if that's the case). probably only 2 or 3 puzzles in the entire game are mildly interesting, but they are marred by very confusingly translated instructions. translation quality is a consistent problem throughout the whole game (it even ends with "to be continue"). in the last chapter some phrases are not translated at all (luckily, none of those seemed to be crucial).somehow, even the UI is very clunky and unresponsive. from going through your notes to interacting with puzzles, everything feels off. many puzzle screens even have a confirmation popup window on exit, which became almost infuriating towards the end.
